✅ Your OrthoLoft size:Sound familiar?
Before we built OrthoLoft, we read hundreds of one-star reviews of America's best-selling toppers — most of them written by people over 60. The same four complaints, over and over.

"I wake up stiffer than I went to bed."
The first ten minutes of the morning are spent holding the nightstand. Your mattress is 12 years old, and a new one costs $2,000 — so you keep putting it off.
"It said 4 inches. It's 2."
Looks huge in the photo. Lie on it and the fiber packs down to half. Nobody ever measured it under a body — let alone a body with a bad hip.
Flat by month three
A dip exactly where your hips and lower back go. You shake it every morning. It gets worse, not better — and so does the pain.
"Guarantee" = store credit
You complain, they offer a voucher for a shop you'll never use again. And you pay $60 to ship a mattress-sized box back.
If you nodded at even two of these, keep reading. OrthoLoft was built to fix exactly this — and we give you 100 nights and a ruler to check our work.
Night 1 feels the same everywhere. Night 90 doesn't.
Any topper feels soft out of the box. The question is what it feels like — and what your back feels like — three months in.
Ordinary "4-inch" topper — month 3
Loft where your hips go
- Hip dip you can see from the doorway
- Clumped fiber — 2 to 2½ inches where it matters
- Lower back sags into the gap all night
- Hot polyester cover; you kick the blanket off at 3am
- Slides toward the footboard every week
CoolDas OrthoLoft™ — month 3
Loft where your hips go
- Support layer holds the full 4 inches under load
- Baffle boxes keep the fill exactly where it was sewn
- Hips and shoulders sink in; spine stays level
- Breathable cover — heat gets out, you stay asleep
- 16-inch skirt + corner straps: it doesn't move

Two layers, not one. That's the whole trick.
Every other topper is one big bag of fiber. Fiber is lovely — it's the cloud feeling — but on its own it crushes under weight and never fully springs back. That's why a soft topper ends up feeling like no topper at all right where your hips go.
OrthoLoft keeps the cloud on top and puts a resilient support layer underneath that physically can't pack down. Your shoulders and hips sink in just enough, your spine stays level, and the loft you feel on night one is the loft you feel on night 300.
- 1Breathable, moisture-wicking cover — heat gets out, night sweats don't build up
- 21,200 gsm high-density cloud fiber in baffle boxes — no clumping, no migration
- 3Resilient support layer — holds the full 4" under your hips and lower back
- 416" deep skirt + elastic corner straps — no gap at the headboard, no sliding
What you actually get

🛌 Pressure off your hips and lower back
Side sleeper? Your shoulder and hip sink into the cloud layer while the support layer keeps your spine straight. Back sleeper? The lumbar curve is filled instead of hanging. Either way, fewer 3am position changes.

📏 Loft you can measure
We quote the thickness under load, not fluffed up for a photo. The ruler's in the box — check us. If it isn't 4 inches, you get your money back.

🛏️ Stays exactly where you put it
16-inch deep skirt and elastic corner straps. Fits in two minutes, no lifting the mattress. Your pillows won't fall into a gap at the headboard, and it works on adjustable bases.

❄️ Sleeps cool, washes easy
Moisture-wicking cover and an open fiber structure — cloud softness without the sauna, even with hot flashes or night sweats. Zip the cover off and machine wash cold. The support layer never needs washing.

Fair questions
Will it help my back?
Here's the honest version. A topper can't fix a spine, and we're not doctors. What OrthoLoft does is mechanical: it stops your hips and lower back from sinking into a dip, keeps your spine level whether you sleep on your side or your back, and takes pressure off the points that ache. Most people over 60 who write to us say the same thing — fewer wake-ups and an easier first ten minutes in the morning. If you have a diagnosed condition, check with your doctor; and if it doesn't help you, 100 nights, money back.
Is it really 4 inches? Everyone says that.
That's exactly why we put a ruler in the box. Unpack, give it 24 hours to loft, measure the edge, then press a hand flat in the middle and measure again. We quote the number under load. If it doesn't match, photo + email = full refund.
Is it too soft? I need support, not a marshmallow.
It's two layers for a reason. The top is cloud-soft so your shoulder and hip can sink in; the bottom is a firm support layer that can't pack down. The feel is "plush on top, solid underneath" — not the sinking-into-foam feeling that makes it hard to roll over or get out of bed.
Will it make me hot? I get night sweats.
The cover is a moisture-wicking weave (not plain cotton) and the fiber is an open structure, so body heat escapes instead of pooling. It's a cloud topper, not a memory-foam slab — it won't trap heat the way foam does.
What does "100-night money-back" actually mean?
Sleep on it for up to 100 nights. If you don't love it, email or call us. We send a prepaid return label, you drop the box at UPS, and we refund the full amount to your original payment method within 5 business days of receiving it. Not store credit.
Where does it ship from and how long does it take?
Shipped from our US warehouse with tracking. Most addresses receive it in 3–6 business days. You'll get the tracking number by email and text.
Does it work on an adjustable bed? Will my fitted sheet still fit?
Yes to both. The topper is flexible and bends with the base, and the elastic corner straps keep it in place when the head rises. It fits under a standard fitted sheet; if your mattress is already very deep (16"+), a deep-pocket sheet makes life easier.
Is it hard to put on? I live alone.
No lifting needed. Unroll it on the bed, pull the skirt over each corner one at a time, and tuck your sheet over it. About two minutes. The Queen weighs around 12 lb.
How do I wash it?
Zip the cover off and machine wash cold on a gentle cycle, low tumble or line dry. The support layer doesn't need washing — spot-clean if needed. Shake and air the topper monthly.
Who are you, actually?
CoolDas is a small bedding company. Real people answer the phone and email (9am–6pm ET, Monday–Friday), and the founder reads every review. If anything's not right, you'll be talking to the person who can fix it.

Your mattress isn't the problem. The 2-inch "4-inch" topper on it is.
Keep the bed you've got. Add the layer that holds its shape under your hips, keeps your spine level, sleeps cool — and comes with a ruler so you never have to take anyone's word for it again. The mornings are for your grandkids, not the nightstand.
